This remarkable piece of yachting history is available for purchase as her owner is seeking a suitable custodian to keep her in the forefront of the classic / historic yachting events. Her sales price of £985,000 reflects her heritage and her "as new" condition in full commission following her reconstruction and restoration, now completed.

“Bloodhound” is British Flagged on the part one register in the current owner’s name and is fortunate to have retained her ownly name throughout her life. Her ownership heritage is listed in the LLoyds registers with concurrent bills of sale since Miles Wyatt’s sale to the Queen and Prince Phillip and thereon to Bernard & Robert Cook to the present day.

Bloodhound sale specification.
  1. Fully restored / re-constucted yacht. (See separate spec sheet.), sold effectively "as new"
  2. New Awlgrip paint & coatings throughout interior and exterior with varnished hull.(See sep spec sheet).
  3. Newly constructed internal layout comprises of:
    1. Entry to the interior is via the original deckhouse which provides seating and navigation space, leading to staircase down to sallon.
    2. Large airy saloon with large skylight over has an open plan galley on port side, dinette and navigation station to starboard.
    3. Doorway forward to companionway with day heads / shower to port, leading through to twin bunk cabin with large hanging locker, drawers under and overhead locker to starboard. Forward of this is a double berth cuddy with chainlocker access. This area can also be accessed via the deck hatch / bulkhead steps with natural light provided by twin deck hatches and twin deck prism lights.
    4. Doorway aft into passageway with large hanging locker, leads through to aft cabin with double berth with en-suite heads. This cabin has large skylight and an addition two pilot berths which can be used as storage if preferred. Twin (mirrored hanging lockers, under berth drawers and a vanity / writing unit are also featured.
    5. All jonerwork is redwood t & g painted gloss white with handcrafted mahogany trim and panelled doors / drawer units with new uphostery through to include leather buttoned saloon settee.
  4. Ford Mermaid 55HP diesel engine / PRM heavy duty hydraulic box.
  5. Three bladed feathering propeller on centreline shaft. (Newly engineered.) with new lipseal & R & D coupling.
  6. 3.5 kw Cocooned generator set.
  7. 4 x 120 amp hour batteries (new) with new wiring / control panels and 12v systems throughout, incorporating subtle halogen downlighting.
  8. New aluminium 150 gallon water tank with new speedfit poly plumbing throughout yacht.
  9. New aluminium 50 gallon fuel tank with new supply lines / filters throughout.
  10. New stainless steel 20 gallon toilet holding tank.
  11. All electric galley comprises of polished (off white) resin marble top and fitted with twin s/s inset sinks, chest fridge, ceramic infra red hob and microwave / grille unit in gimballed case.
  12. Both head compartments incorporate polished (off white) resin marble vanity tops and shower trays with s/s inset sink bowls. Both of the original Baby Blake toilets have been fully restored and re-chromed.
  13. All deck fittings are new in customised polished stainelss steel.
  14. New 12v Lofrans windlass to 20 meters 12mm calibrated chain, plus 30m of (weight saving) weighted anchor rope.
  15. New (chrome on bronze) Antal two speed self tailing winches, two 40's, two 48's and two 52's.
  16. Navigation package to be finalsied but Raymarine C80 system is favorite.
  17. All spars re-awlgripped in white, overhauled and re-rigged.
  18. New running rigging throughout.
  19. Comprehensive sail wardrobe includes twenty valletted / reconditioned sails.
  20. Flying jib and staysail furling arrangments to be finalisied but can be self furling if preferred.
